“Position” Programme
The training by this programme is carried out on special request and ensures acquiring the necessary qualification for taking up a specific position, or the so-called position qualification.
The necessary qualification is determined on the basis of the results of a survey of the position as a typical one or as a specific one for the given enterprise.
Very often the position qualification suggests acquiring a qualification in a given field of a profession, or enlarging the already obtained professional qualification, or a combination of the two which results in a unique professional qualification. The latter one is in great demand in the sector of small and medium-sized business.
A training plan for acquiring the necessary qualification by this programme is made up and it comprises apart from the training courses from the FIA programme, also special courses, elaborated just for the FIB programme and special courses of training worked out to meet the demands of a specific position.
For example an office secretary must acquire an extra qualification in accounting or in marketing. In the first case the office secretary should range and enter primary accounting documents into a computerised accountancy system and should make up some operative accounting summaries. On the other hand the accountancy as a whole is kept by an accountancy house on the premises of the served enterprise. The above mentioned situation is a very common effective solution for the small an medium sized enterprises.
In the second case the activity of the office secretary is enriched with some marketing activities such as keeping up contacts with clients, direct advertising and selling products, accounts with clients that receive goods on deferred payments. And this is also a very common practice with the small and medium sized enterprises.
The training takes place once or twice a week and lasts two or four hours, depending on the engagement of the trainees (the trainees are usually working people and their employer requires that they obtain specific position qualification). During the rest of the time the trainees carry out self-training or training practice.
The duration of the training depends on the desired qualification and is determined after working out the training plan (number of subjects and training schedule).
The admission to the training by this programme takes place on request throughout the year. The training itself starts on determining the training schedule and paying the fee.
The training fees for this programme are calculated on the basis of the set of training courses in the training plan and the training schedules.
 
“Specialization” Programme
Training by this programme is carried out on special request and ensures enlarging the already acquired vocational qualification which allows the trainee to perform autonomous activities. The training for enlarging VQ through specialization is dictated by the necessity of solving typical practical problems. Depending on the character of these practical problems and situations, the following types of specialization are offered:
Specialization for a specific position
The narrow specialization is a superstructure of the traditional speciality and it requires adding up inter-subject knowledge and skills by means of which the VQ gets enlarged and deepened in a given specific direction.
The College organises the following types of specialization:

effective management;
 •
financial management;
 •
effective advertisement and sales promotion;
 •
corporate security;
 •
real estate agency;
 •
real estate management.
The specialization training takes place either once a week for 4 hours per working day or on the Saturdays in the course of 6 months. During the rest of the time the trainees perform self-training or training practice..
Specialization for solving complex business problems
Under circumstances of deteriorated financial results, bad business communications within the company or between the company and the business environment, or both, or under a combination of other negative business factors, it is essential that a diagnosis of the situation be made, a stabilization plan be elaborated and the management team be qualified to organise and carry out the necessary changes.
For solving the above mentioned problems it is necessary to train a team, including the general manager, his deputies (department managers) and experts (or specialists), formally or specially engaged to stabilise the company or to solve the complicated situations.
The training takes place once a week for two hours (90 minutes) and lasts for several months, depending on the complexity of the necessary qualification. During the rest of the time the trainees perform self-training and training practice.
A separate training plan is made up for each case. The training plan includes basic courses or special courses of training in the field of marketing, management and economics, as well as intersubject courses of training for solving specific problems..
Specialization for recovering the firm
When a company is in deep crisis, but is still able to avoid bankruptcy it can be put in the charge of a team that is able to carry out the process of restoring the company.
The team is divided into two sub-teams named: “restoration consulting” sub-team and sub-team “restoration management”. In the latter sub-team qualified specialists and specialists undergoing qualification take part. The qualified specialists are of limited number, usually one or two, and are in most cases employed for a certain period. The specialists undergoing qualification are those who are being actively trained during the remedial period of the company and will be in charge of the company after its turnaround recovery. For the training in this specialization a unique and complicated plan has to be elaborated and this requires tremendous researching.
The researching work is the task of the “restoration consulting” sub-team and usually precedes the actual process of restoring the company. This plan outlines the restoring measures, the necessary qualification training and the duration of the two.
The training in this specialization is organized individually on the basis of a dynamic schedule and in accordance with the restoration plan.
The admission to the training by this programme takes place on request throughout the year. The training starts after determining the training schedule and paying the fee.
The training fees for this programme are calculated on the basis of the set of training courses in the training plan and the training schedule..
Specialization for microbusiness consultant
Since the summer of 2001 EUBC along with the Institute of small and medium sized business has started a vocational education for university graduates for microbusiness consultants. The training duration is 6 months and it includes 6 modules. Each of the modules consists of 10 training days of seminars ­­– 6 hours each and a test mark for skills. Those who have successfully completed the consultancy programme have to be able to solve 3 problems in practice:
(1)
Finding of microbusiness potentials by determining the ratio of competitive power of the products and the micro business;
(2)
Working out of a business plan and credit ground and providing a bank credit.;
(3)
Book-keeping by single entry of the new microbusiness.;
